All around the Brecon Beacons National Park and fringe areas there are community groups who all share a common concern for the environment, both locally and on a larger, international scale. Some of these groups are following their own environmental initiatives and The Green Valleys fully supports this. The Green Valleys wants to form a central hub of information to inspire and inform other groups in other areas to get involved and become the changes they want to see in their communities.
If you are part of a community that is looking into sustainable energy and the way forward as oil becomes more scarce and human induced climate change becomes more of a pressing issue than we would love to hear from you. It doesn't matter if your community group is official or if you are just a few neighbours getting together with some ideas, we will offer any support we can. If desired, we will give you a space here on the Community pages to share your thoughts or plans with others or to spread your message locally.
